Fund Manager
Tracy Nguyen-Phan has been the CESMII Fund Manager for almost 4 years. In this role, her responsibilities include:
- Provide financial management and administrative support for all Office of Information Technology contracts and grants, with a primary focus on the $140m, 5 year Department of Energy Award for the Clean Energy Smart Manufacturing Innovation Institute (CESMII).
- Prepare new proposals, provide award administration and maintain financial management in compliance with state, federal, agency specific and university policies.
- Create and provide monthly financial reports, ad hoc analysis, projections, and expense reconciliation on all contract and grant funding sources.
- Provide training and mentoring to department staff on grant responsibilities.
Prior to the CESMII program, Tracy has spent 25 years at UCLA College of Engineering and David Geffen School of Medicine in various roles of grant and financial management.
