Visit CESMII on the showfloor and see what the Democratization of Smart Manufacturing looks like
CESMII will have a booth on the showfloor and will be participating in sessions in the Smart Zone Theater. Check the latest agenda for more information as the event gets closer.
This session features speakers from ARC’s Digital Transformation Top 25. Industrial companies need to modernize their operating practices and technologies in order to successfully compete in today’s more dynamic and continuously evolving marketplace. Leaders pursue digital transformation, using data and technology to increase flexibility and performance in production processes, meet sustainability targets, enhance the organization’s ability to address customers’ needs, and improve competitive positioning.
The Smart Manufacturing Executive Council had its inaugural meeting this month with more than 35 industry experts and strategic advisors kicking off this important (and urgent) initiative to engage business and technology executives, thought leaders and visionaries to advocate for the transformation of the U.S. manufacturing ecosystem.
The amount of excitement, mindshare and collaboration that went on during the 2-hour meeting was a testament to the potential of this council as they work toward the development of practical guidance and policy recommendations that will help our ecosystem across the digital divide.
CESMII and SME look forward to sharing more with you in the coming months and encourage you to follow along.
New technologies are rapidly revolutionizing smart manufacturing with implications for industry, government, and the American workforce. Join the National Academies for a series of three workshops to explore the state of the art in smart manufacturing technology; workforce, education and training needs; and the broader impacts for the U.S. economy and national competitiveness.
Submissions for RFP4s have closed as of January 22, 2023.
Project selections are expected to be made in the February-March timeframe.
The CESMII team is working on downloadable project case study handouts that will be available on our website.
Each handout will include the project scope, benefits, accomplishments, data results and more.
Stay tuned for more information in the coming months.
