On May 16-18, 2023, the Advanced Materials & Manufacturing Technologies Office (AMMTO) and Industrial Efficiency & Decarbonization Office (IEDO) will conduct a joint Peer Review to evaluate their strategic and operational impact.
In October 2022, the Advanced Manufacturing Office (AMO) at the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) was reorganized into AMMTO and IEDO to reflect the national urgency of both domestic clean energy manufacturing competitiveness and industrial decarbonization. The Peer Review will evaluate each office’s strategy, mission space, and investments through forward-looking presentations on project portfolios and priorities, poster sessions highlighting current activities, and stakeholder engagement.
The event will include moderated discussion with project performers and an opportunity for performers to share highlights from their DOE-funded work. A diverse group of reviewers will evaluate AMMTO’s and IEDO’s strategy and how each office’s portfolio of projects advances DOE’s mission and goals.
The event will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Washington, D.C.-Crystal City.
