Director, Smart Manufacturing Innovation Center Network
Michael Maziarz was hired as the Director Smart Manufacturing Innovation Center (SMIC) Network in August 2021. He manages the ten SMIC programs across the USA, driving the successful requirements needed to improve the growth and operation of CESMII’s national network. The successful expansion of the National SMIC Network enables and educates members to improve efficiency in production and energy utilization.
Mr. Maziarz has 30+ years of proven success in operations management, sale growth, and manufacturing. He also served in the US Navy reserve for 26 years, retiring as a Lieutenant Commander. He has extensive experience in program management excellence coupled with technical expertise focused on maximizing results. Passionate about shaping high-performing teams and cultures focused on the execution of strategic plans that exceed corporate objectives, improve performance, and drive results.
Before CESMII, Michael was the President and Consultant: of Maz Management Consulting, which provided extensive business operations review services, including process reviews, KPI measurements, 5S implementation, business development and sales, safety and compliance, technology, and management reviews. Planned, directed, and implemented policies, objectives, and cost-cutting programs to ensure continuing operations and improve the bottom line and required human resource activities, including approval of resource plans and activities, selection of senior-level staff, and the establishment and organization of multiple departments.
