Options for a National Smart Manufacturing Plan

New technologies are rapidly revolutionizing smart manufacturing with implications for industry, government, and the American workforce. Join the National Academies for a series of three workshops to study the state of the art in smart manufacturing technology; workforce, education and training needs; and the broader impacts for the U.S. economy and national competitiveness. This is a study informed by but intended to consider SM beyond the charters of the Manufacturing USA Institutes. During these workshops, participants will explore a wide range of impacts that smart manufacturing could have on industry, the U.S. economy, and the environment. You are invited to register and attend the workshops virtually or in person and/or provide comments to the study.
