Starting Small with Smart Manufacturing

Starting Small with Smart Manufacturing

In recognition of National Manufacturing Month, our goal is to connect manufacturers new to Industry 4.0 with the Smart Manufacturing & IoT community, sparking the ideas and relationships that can inspire their leap into Smart Manufacturing

Overview

In conjunction with National Manufacturing Month, the objective is to bring Manufacturers who have not yet begun to pursue Industry 4.0 into proximity with the Smart Manufacturing & IoT community. Perhaps a facilitated collision of people and ideas might be just the needed catalyst for area manufacturers to take the leap into Smart Manufacturing.

“Assessments, Energy and Funding Sources”

Each segment will feature a 10-minute focused presentation by an area SME, “Here’s what you need to know to get started…”, followed by a 10 minute story from a manufacturer, “Here’s how we got started…”, followed by 10 minutes of audience Q&A. The goal is to cover the whole gamut of Smart Manufacturing parts and pieces with an emphasis on just what you need to know to get started, a real-world example, plus interactivity, plus networking.

Thank you to Event Sponsors, Stand With Crypto (micropayments), MorelandConnect (software dev), and Semtech/Sierra Wireless (Wi-Fi & connectivity)

SWC understands that there is a future for digital assets and peer-to-peer payments in the IoT and Smart Manufacturing space. Work is already well-underway for machines transacting directly with each other in a programmatic and 100% digital form. MC has a long and accomplished track record developing software for manufacturers with a focus on Northeast Ohio. Incorporating AI in both the development process and the final product is a growing superpower. Semtech/Sierra Wireless has proven expertise with wireless communications in industrial manufacturing, healthcare, and utilities. Thank you to both Stand With Crypto, MorelandConnect, and Semtech/Sierra Wireless for sharing the vision and supporting the movement.
