📢What’s New with CESMII:

Top 3 Highlights

We’ve been extraordinarily busy at CESMII, and we’re excited to share what we’ve been up to and what we’re looking forward to!

  1. Ready to take the next step in your SM journey? CESMII is actively hosting SM Strategy, Architecture, and Value Workshops for our members. These one-day workshops align OT and IT teams around modern, interoperable architectures. These are customized to fit your organizational needs. Contact us if you’re interested in learning more.

  2. Save the Date: CESMII’s Smart Manufacturing Architecture Imperatives – Designing Better Namespaces for OT & IT Convergence Workshop on June 5th, 2025, from 11-2 PM (ET). This workshop takes the three imperatives for SM compliance and maps each to our core layers (information model, platform, and API). Registration is coming soon.

  3.  Resilient and Flexible Biopharmaceutical Supply Networks: Together with NIIMBL, and with the support of the Gates Foundation, we recently hosted ~50 industry leaders for a virtual workshop to discuss the value of, and the challenges and resources required to “Strengthen the Vaccine Supply Chain Through a Manufacturing Supply Chain Data Exchange.” Stay tuned for the workshop outcome, and for details on the next workshop on this vital topic!

          Automate 2025

See firsthand how data contracts and information modeling build a strong foundation for valuable applications.

CESMII is teaming up with Phoenix Contact at Automate 2025 (May 12-15, Detroit, MI) to demonstrate how seamless data integration drives smarter decision-making.

          At Booth 5232, we’ll showcase:

✅ Use Case 1 – Transforming diverse data sources into meaningful, contextual insights for informed decision-making.
✅ Use Case 2 – Rapidly building on existing work to accelerate new solution development.

          Why it matters:

Manufacturers and System Integrators often develop use cases individually, leading to multiple applications accessing the same plant floor data—overloading networks and devices. CESMII’s Smart Manufacturing (SM) Architecture & Concepts streamline this process by enabling reuse, reducing complexity, and speeding up time to value.

🔹 See it in action: Explore how data contracts & information modeling lay a strong data foundation for scalable, future-ready solutions.

Join us at Booth 5232 and discover how a solid data strategy fuels innovation!
